Its Coming Along (Bathroom Update 1) February 14th, 2008
We are a week and a half onto our remodel and a lot has already changed. After several late nights, scary rented tools, and a lot of dust the bathroom is completely torn out (including the floor) and is on its way to being two bathrooms. We (Ian and Rich) have most of the plumbing done and we are just about ready to start covering everything back up.
Thanks to Ian, Rich, and Shirls for all the help so far and to Maeve for being such a trooper in her final trimester of pregnancy.

A- Why are you ripping out that beautiful linoleum? PSYCHE!!! Good job! But don’t touch all that AWESOME brick! I am obsessed! You both know how I love a home to have some character.
B- Love B-Rad’s construction jeans? Sevens? I am nervous about them getting ruined.
C- I can’t believe that Maevis is in her last trimester! I just can’t wait to meet the little guy!

Hey Summer don’t worry about those jeans, the groin area disintegrated a while ago.

It doesn’t look fun but it will be worth it! Way to be the man Brad…these projects are huge! Love all the pictures of the house! You two will work your magic and this house will be awesome! I love the Grandma Glo brick and those red doors oh and the fireplace! I can’t wait to see it in person!

I am impressed by so many things: Maeve’s uncanny knack for maintaining peace of mind, Brad’s uncanny remodel skills, and Summer’s knack for spotting Sevens a mile away. Keep up the good work, dudes!
p.s. The brick walls of our hotel room in AZ were painted white and I thought they looked really good. Just in case you’re still trying to decide what to do.

why’d you touch the bathroom? it was just great the way it was.

Thanks, Ali.
The brick is becoming very controversial, we’ll have to see what happens with it.

That’s really exciting, and I’m sure it’s also really exhausting. Good job guys.

Geez Brad, you’re alot more handy than I am. Keep up the good work! And the photos. I’m quite curious what your stylish minds have in mind for your place.

I love the demo shots. I hear you on the scary rented tools, while reworking our house we rented a floor grinder that made the biggest cloud of dust and virtually steered me around the room.

I dig your house. It looks classic.
