Miles Man At 6 Months October 1st, 2008
So, the blog silence is over. I am past being so busy for so long that I don’t know any different and I am now trying to just unwind a little. I’ve been meaning to do a post for a week now. I still have Dudes Trip pictures to put up, pictures I took of the Johnstons in July, pictures of our house, but its Miles hitting the big 6 month mark on Saturday that is going to break my blog dry spell.
These are a bunch of pictures Maeve has taken over the past few weeks because I’ve been too blah, blah, blah. Anyway the little dude is growing and changing so much. And I love him so much. So much that I look forward to getting up early with him to watch The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. It seems to be his favorite show. He laughs and squeals and yells and sings. He started eating real (kind of) food last week and I’ve been teaching him how to sit up and hes pretty much got it, unless there is something he wants to the far left or right of him then he topples over (I don’t think he realizes when he falls though).
He had his 6 month appointment on Monday and here is what we learned.
Weight: 17 pounds 2 ounces (41%)
Height: 26 inches (32%)
Head Circumference: 17 inches (23%)
So basically, he’s kind of short but chubby with a pretty small head. He’s awesome.

The top middle picture, the one in the crib with the alphabet behind him, reminds me so much of my brother Bradley when he was a baby.
Also, the one where Miles is laying down with the monkeys and has that terrified look in his eye is hilarious. Miles. Funny little dude.

He is too cute!!!!!! I can’t decide which picture is my favorite….the sock monkey picture with the horror stricken look in his eyes, the sweet potatoes all over his face, the bed picture where he looks like he owns the place or that adorable smile. I just love him to pieces!

I can’t believe it’s been six months already!
Miles is in good shape if his favorite show is The Fresh Prince of Bel Air-his style is already looking very promising. Now you just have to teach him the merit of the classic 80s flicks and the Evil Dead series (probably when he’s a wee bit older though ‘eh?).

I’m so glad to see you guys posted! I love Miles. He is getting so big already. Good job on the pics Maeve. I love the faces he’s making. Oh and those sock monkeys are really cute.

six months! wow. i’m so excited to see the new pictures of little miles. i can’t even believe how much he has grown since july when i saw him. what a darling little guy, he is such a mix of you two. keep more pictures coming. i can’t wait to see the house too, i’m sure it’s awesome.

Oh my goodness is he ADORABLE!!! I love the crib picture with the monkeys on either side of him! And I am coming to the conclusion that he is a good mix of you two.

Yay for the many faces of Miles! Or just the one face, for now. He has that same look in every shot, and it looks like BradMan. With a touch of Maeve.

It’s good to have you back blogging again. He is so cute. I know what you mean about getting excited to see him, it is hard to leave Abby every morning. I love that he’s a fan of The Fresh Prince. That’s great.
