Miles’s First Birthday Party May 7th, 2009
Miles first birthday wasn’t exactly a success. We had father and son ear infections and he wasn’t handling his so good. At the start there was no cake ravishing or paper tearing. The only thing that he was into was Grandma Glo’s walker. We almost pulled him out of his own party to go to Instacare.
Things turned around during the last hour and he had a lot of fun playing with his cousins and having his grandpas swing him in his new swing. That made up for the first part. And Maeve’s decorations were pretty sweet too.

Dudes Trip in July January 15th, 2009
Sorry it took so long to post these pictures. But I wanted to spread out the memories. And sorry I didn’t get any pictures of Tandem Bike Time Trial, Jeremy puking, frog catching/racing, hacky sack, “mountain biking”, and all of the other sweet stuff that went down. Holiday Hootenanny January 9th, 2009
This year at our annual Sweater Party we had a “Holiday Hootenanny” organized by Jesse. I have to admit I was a little nervous about this. When I first heard about it I couldn’t stop thinking of the scene in About a Boy when Hue Grant talks about how painful it is to watch people singing especially when they close their eyes (or something like that, I haven’t watched that movie in a while). But it turns out that all you have to do is give me a bongo drum and I can have more fun than I thought humanly possible.
Thanks Jesse for coming up with this idea and thanks Posts for hosting this fun party every year. Miles got some instruments for Christmas so maybe next year I can jam on those.

Hunting January 7th, 2009
I haven’t put up any legit photos in a while. Thats another resolution of mine. To make more photos. I got a bit busy for that last year and I really miss it. I shot these at Curt’s cabin last July and just got around to doing anything with them.
On, what my have been, the last trip to one of my favorite places on this earth I tried to notice the little things. Like these hunting decoys that I have past by tons of times jumping off of the deck in the snow or hiding to attack people with super soakers. As I get older there is a ton of stuff that I am so excited for but I am glad that there is just as much that I don’t want to let go.

The Silky Bros aka Cover Band November 2nd, 2008
The Silky Bros played the Halloween Party with a mean set of covers. This was my favorite show I’ve been to all year. I guess it is my only one too but anyway. I believe Dusty was the mastermind behind this whole deal and I gotta say it was awesome. I haven’t jammed that hard for a few years. I wish I would have taken more pictures because I didn’t really get any of Christine on keyboards or Jessica rockin’ the mic but I was too busy getting down.

Halloween Party November 2nd, 2008
The Strong Man made ’til 8:00.
There was a lumber jack and this vato named Angel.
Frank scared the crap out of us.
This caveman rolled up on a motorcycle and then the food showed up.
Brent pulled off one of my dream costumes.

Palin took time away from the campaign trail to say hey.
The Strong Man got all agro and said I was taking to many pictures of him and his lady.
RoboTy was back again with some technological breakthroughs.
Mr. Clean didn’t want any messin’ around.

Ali July 13th, 2008
This is Ali. We’ve been friends for a long time. She is one of my best friends. She is married to my other best friend Curtis. They are moving across the country in a few weeks. They will be missed severely.
