Miles Loves Friends January 23rd, 2009

Last month we had a baby shower at our house for Curt and Ali. Miles got to hang out with his friends and I’m pretty sure it was the most fun hes ever had in his life. He kind of loses control around other babies. I love it.

Holiday Hootenanny January 9th, 2009

This year at our annual Sweater Party we had a “Holiday Hootenanny” organized by Jesse. I have to admit I was a little nervous about this. When I first heard about it I couldn’t stop thinking of the scene in About a Boy when Hue Grant talks about how painful it is to watch people singing especially when they close their eyes (or something like that, I haven’t watched that movie in a while). But it turns out that all you have to do is give me a bongo drum and I can have more fun than I thought humanly possible.

Thanks Jesse for coming up with this idea and thanks Posts for hosting this fun party every year. Miles got some instruments for Christmas so maybe next year I can jam on those.

The Silky Bros aka Cover Band November 2nd, 2008

The Silky Bros played the Halloween Party with a mean set of covers. This was my favorite show I’ve been to all year. I guess it is my only one too but anyway. I believe Dusty was the mastermind behind this whole deal and I gotta say it was awesome. I haven’t jammed that hard for a few years. I wish I would have taken more pictures because I didn’t really get any of Christine on keyboards or Jessica rockin’ the mic but I was too busy getting down.

Halloween Party November 2nd, 2008

The Strong Man made ’til 8:00.

There was a lumber jack and this vato named Angel.

Blessing Day June 16th, 2008

We blessed Miles on June 1st. It was a nice day. Weather, food, family and friends were just about as good as they could get. Thanks everyone for your help and support. And sorry I was too busy eating cookies and socializing to take more pictures of everybody. I sort of regret that.
