Its my lovely wife’s birthday today. She is turning thirty so here are my thirty favorite things about her.

1. She is beautiful
2. She is very talented
3. She is classy
4. She likes Curb Your Enthusiasm
5. She has soft skin
6. She smells good
7. She dresses really good
8. She can be really silly (but only I get to see it)
9. She is fearless
10. I think she’s ok with us getting a dog some day
11. She makes really good popcorn, cookies, treats, and snacks
12. Almost daily she asks me whats my favorite thing about her like shes never heard it before
13. We have the same taste in housewares (which I’m learning is not very common but extremely important)
14. She gets separation anxiety when we are apart
15. She likes pizza almost as much as I do
16. She comes from a great family
17. She is so freakin’ cute
18. She is very photogenic (even though she never lets me take her picture)
19. She didn’t know I was funny (she just thought I was stupid) for the first few months we dated
20. She is a hard worker
21. She gives me a hand massage every Sunday in church
22. We never fight
23. She supports me in my recent love of photography (and all hobbies for that matter)
24. There are all these interesting things about her but she keeps them quiet
25. She is a really good skier
26. She tells me stories about being a little girl and they are so cute it makes me want to cry
27. She always laughs really hard when shes on the phone and even though I don’t know what shes laughing at it makes me smile
28. Even though she gets tired she tries to stay up late with me
29. When she writes checks she uses the word ‘bucks’ instead of ‘dollars’
30. She lets me be me and loves me for it

Happy Birthday Maeve. I love you very very much.

So I think I’m switching my dream dog from a french bulldog to an old english sheepdog. Maeve and I live by one and we have had two amazing encounters with it (both encounters were from the car but they both made my day).

Anyone know anything about these sweet beasts?

I know Oliver is getting a lot of coverage lately but this is a picture of him holding Molly’s fresh baby named Oliver. In the brief time Big Oliver held Little Oliver he had a surprising amount of advice for him.

This is my bro-in-law Oliver and he’s got some good old man style or maybe its more of a southern gentleman thing. Whatever it is I like it.

Thanks to FranklinCovey we got to make our annual pilgrimage to Lagoon today. I do love that place.

After being there today with my camera I almost want to go back just to take pictures. I should have gotten my Bounce Back ticket.
